India retail leasing rises 19% to 5.8 million sq ft in January-September 2026: Report

Retail space absorption across India reached about 5.8 million sq ft during January-September 2026, up around 19% year-on-year. Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Hyderabad together accounted for nearly 67% of total leasing, while new retail supply stood at about 1.8 million sq ft.
